Is The Dreadmill As Effective As Running Outdoors?
"Others, equally adamant, claim that treadmill miles are actually harder, perhaps because they’re stabbing themselves in the face with a fork to relieve the boredom."
Interesting. I hate the dreadmill, but it does work.
I wonder when someone will test the heating / cooling issue with a fan : )
It’s also possible that the lack of air resistance becomes a liability when you’re really working hard, because you don’t have moving air to cool you down.
We finally found the solution to keep our treadmill from becoming a clothes rack! We bought one with no handles! Seriously, we bought one at Christmas and it has been used less than 5 times. Treadly, if you want one that doesn't go very fast, has no buttons, but won't become a clothes rack.
Interesting stuff.
