Pictures don't do it justice. And it's not that any single two or three mile section is bad. It's that there is no let up. It just continues to beat you down, until you know who is in charge. At the same time, it's beautiful. And for not being in the mountains, it's about as close to a mountain trail as you can get.
Yeah, I'd love to have you guys up here to CT for a run sometime. I'm still planning on trying a 50-mile run of the Appalachian Trail in CT, which Sean and I have discussed in the past. I just need to see if my torn calf muscle is good to go.
